Summary: The Hewlett Packard Scanjet 8300 Professional Image Scanner is a legal size flatbed scanner only. This scanner works with both the Kurzweil 1000 & 3000, but will need the newest "TWAINInterface.ocx" file (5/10/06) to make this scanner to work properly. This scanner will have a scan time for flatbed scanning, of about 7 seconds per page (Black/White) and about 20 seconds per page (Color). The cost of this scanner is around $499.00.

• Scanner warm-up or initiation time on first scan is about 30 seconds
• Only needs to install the HP Scanjet 8300 Document TWAIN
