Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh Version 2.0

A new patch release for Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh Version 2.0 is now available - Version 2.0.3. This is a free update for registered Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh Version 2.0 customers. This patch release can be downloaded directly (see below). We strongly recommend that all customers upgrade to Version 2.0.3 in order to have access to the latest features and bug fixes in Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh Version 2.0. Version 2.0.3 includes everything that was in the previous patch releases, Version 2.0.2 and Version 2.0.1.

NOTICE - You may have to re-register the product after upgrading to Version 2.0.3.

Significant changes in Version 2.0.3:

• Improved memory management that allows more documents to be opened in Mac OS 9 and better overall performance in Mac OS X

• Fix for importing large PDF files into Kurzweil 3000 Professional

• Fix for cases when user's activation information could be lost, forcing user to re-register their copy of Kurzweil 3000

Significant changes in Version 2.0.2:

• Support for Macintosh Manager and multiple users.

• Fixes to the Online Registration process.

• Certain PDF files no longer cause the application to quit when imported. (OS X only).

• Highlights in text documents now appear when document is printed.

Significant changes in Version 2.0.1:

• Support for Mac OS X 10.3 Panther.

• Color .kes files created in Kurzweil 3000 for Windows Version 7.05 or higher can now be displayed in color on Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh. Color .kes files created in earlier versions of the Windows software will display as black and white.

• Unpredictable error related to memory has been fixed.

• Error that occurred when Edit Underlying Text was open and user was scanning or changing the page has been fixed.
