Accessible Book Collection

The Accessible Book Collection provides ebooks to people with print disabilities and to nonprofit or government schools. In particular, they provide high interest/low reading level ebooks to struggling readers who have a verified print disability such as visual, physical or learning disability.

Bookshare.org

Bookshare.org is a web-based subscription service where over ten thousand ebooks are available for download by U.S. residents who have provided proof of a qualifying disability. By enabling members and volunteers to submit the books they are scanning, Bookshare.org makes an entirely new collection of books available to this community. Permitted by a specific exemption in U.S. copyright law, books are downloaded in digital Braille or the NISO/DAISY format.

Internet Public Library

Offers fictional stories and poems for children at all reading levels. Provides favorite authors information and links to picture books, short stories, poetry, myths, fables and magazines.
