Summary: The Hewlett Packard Scanjet 7800 Document Scanner is a Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) scanner. This scanner works with both the Kurzweil 1000 & 3000, but will need the newest "TWAINInterface.ocx" file (5/10/06) to make this scanner to work properly. This scanner will have a scan time of about 5 seconds per page (Black/White) and about 15 seconds per page (Color). The cost of this scanner is around $799.00.

Caution/Warnings:

• Need to use the HP Scanjet 7800 ISIS/TWAIN
• First time initializing the scan, need to Set Page Size to: "Scanner's Maximum"
• Needs the latest "TWAINInterface.ocx" file (5/10/06): Copy into c:\Program Files\Kurzweil Educational Systems\Common files – (Replace the older file)

Comments/Notes:

• Scanner warm-up or initiation time on first scan is about 30 seconds
• Only needs to install the HP Scanjet 7800 ISIS/TWAIN
