Pages Print All Black

Symptoms

When printing the image of a page from the Kurzweil 1000 or Kurzweil 3000, the page prints out entirely black. This occurs for black and white images, but not color images.

Cause

We have seen this problem on Hewlett-Packard Deskjet 3820 printers. It is likely other HP Deskjets have the same problem.

Solution

Hewlett-Packard has an update to their printer driver that fixes this problem. Go to their web site to download it.
