With the installation of Kurzweil 3000 Version 12 Web License Edition teachers
and program administrators have the ability to assign tasks for students,
receive scores upon completion, and track general usage data. At the same time,
students can now access coursework from any Internet computer that has Kurzweil
3000 client software installed; in addition to having access to course content
and material from the Web Universal Library "cloud-based" storage.
Through a partnership with our sister company, Voyager, Kurzweil 3000 Version
12 Web License Edition makes use of VPORT™, a robust management system,
to handle license set up and account activation, school and student setup, and
assignment and usage reporting services. By linking VPORT management functions
with a new, Web Universal Library, "cloud-based" storage service, Kurzweil 3000
will now be able to maintain and host student assignments while providing
results and reports directly to teachers.
